Traffic & Project Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, your Key Performance Areas include:

  • Operate as a direct link between Marketing and Creative Services
  • Attend all production meetings as outlined in the Integrated Marketing Communications workflow
  • Manage all marketing projects post submission of plans and briefs by the marketing team
  • Manage and present the project plan to the marketing team and supporting traffic teams
  • Coordinate all jobs in the system on behalf of the marketing team
  • Check that all set timelines are in line with approved and presented project plan by Creative Services
  • Establish and maintain regular contact and build strong relationships with the traffic teams
  • Follow up on approvals for all marketing elements in the system
  • Create efficient workflow and systems to ensure all projects are delivered timeously
  • Facilitate the process between the Marketing and Creative Services post marketing shoots
  • Work closely with the Planning and Implementation department to ensure all key marketing artwork and material is sent out to  relevant suppliers
  • Attend status meetings and report on all jobs in the system as per project plan


  • Relevant qualification in project management OR strong project management or traffic background
  • Business English and an understanding of at least 1 official South African language
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in a project management or trafficking role
  • A qualification in project management or strong project co-ordination background
  • Previous experience within marketing, advertising agency, and/or advertising production facility
  • Attention to detail
