Media Implementation Buyer

Media buyer is responsible for acquiring desirable time slots and media space for advertising clients. Media buyers need to form good relationships with advertising sales agents to obtain the best prices and values for advertisement placements, campaigns, or even media bundles.Main responsibilities in this role would be to work close with line manager in implementing, planning, negotiation and buying across all media channels. You will be responsible for the media portfolio of the eMedia Group.

Position Reporting to: Manager Implementation & Buying

1.Media Buying
-Liaising and building relationships with clients and media sales companies.
-Negotiating with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces in online, broadcasting.
-Booking individual advertising spots, eg. Pages, posters, internet, banners and broadcast adverts.
-Ensuring that all radio, TV, print and outdoor bookings are made in line with media buying timelines to ensure that all media plans are implemented.
-Creating and updating chaselist and keeping control of all contracts and billing invoices.
-Responsible for updating the rate changes, buying and coordinate implementation status for all media platforms (TV, radio, print OOH, digital).
-Assisting with formulate monthly, quarterly and annual recon reports.

2. Implementation
-Ensure that all media plans are effectively implemented as booked.
-Compile Implementation Plans for campaigns.
-Compile weekly OOH, social media reports, schedules and material chaselists to ensure that deadlines are met.
-Send off advertising material to suppliers/Media Owners.


A relevant qualification in Advertising or Marketing.
A minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience /agency experience.
