Marketing Specialist

Reporting to : Marketing Communications Manager for channels

1. Integrated Marketing Communications Planning
-Compilation, delivery and management of integrated strategic communication plans that deliver to set business plans and strategies aligned to key project timelines.
-Concise directive as outlined in campaign communication plans to all key stakeholders and support teams.
-Collaborating and co-ordinating with key integrated teams for the formulation of strategic plans that drive business goals.

2. Viewer research and insights
-Understanding and application of key insights for strategic integrated planning and positioning of campaigns.
-Assessing and interpreting ratings, competitor activity and channel research to develop strategies relevant to the brand portfolio.
-Monitoring market trends and overseeing promotion activities to ensure the right message is delivered for each campaign.

3. Operational Framework
-Projecting Management of photo shoots, including the planning and execution of all elements in conjunction with the Creative Director on the campaign.
-Supporting Brand Management team in broader channel campaigns
-Support creative team in terms of creative direction, messaging and sourcing of marketing elements to support content campaigns.
-Overseeing creative elements and proof marketing collateral – ensure that communication is in line with the brief required.
-Working closely with the Traffic Department to ensure timelines and deliverables are achieved.
-Liaising with various production companies to arrange marketing requirements i.e. footage, photo shoots, etc.
-Work with the events team to execute ad-hoc consumer events.

4. Stakeholder relations
-Scheduling, attend and often chair, internal and external meetings relevant to brand portfolio including local production organisations
-Compiling minutes of engagement sessions post all internal and external meetings with all key stakeholders outlining and summarising key deliverables
-Presenting integrated strategies and reports relevant to brand portfolio to external and internal stakeholders
-Managing key internal relationships across various departments i.e. Local Programming/Productions, Publicity, Online, Creative Services, On-air, etc. to ensure 360 degree
communication across portfolio is taking place and all set campaign strategies are met
-Managing supplier relationships and liaise with key external account managers.

5. Monitoring and reporting
-Presenting integrated monthly campaign reports to all key stakeholders.
-Monitoring shows and campaigns performances .


A relevant qualification- Bcomm or BA in Marketing and/or Communications.
A minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, brand management or communications.
